Now That's What I Call The Who Boys!

The time has come again. The magical, mental and mysterious Who Boys return from their remote castle in Switzerland to the streets of Hoxton, London Tahn and bring you 23 of the finest, freakiest, far-out-est mashups ever heard by mankind. Except this time it’s with a twist…
On this album, they break the genre of mashup wide open and take it into new territory … with rewritten lyrics, added vocals, added beats, Lord knows how many original elements … to quote Mr Fab:
"… a superior mixture of spoken-word absurdism, '60s kitsch, brutal electro beats, lovely harmony singing, and all the while sampling everything from country auctioneers and scratchy old 78s to headbangin' rock".
Thanks, Mr Fab. Hell, it don’t get much better than that! Christsakes, what more do you want!? This album is also extra special because it features collaborations with the Tony Crackburn Orchestra (explosively creative fun we had working together, too), and backing vocals from the incredible Crackettes (Mrs Crackburn and Mrs WhoBoy) - the finest harmonic vocal duo in the west.
It’s electric, it’s eclectic, it’s hectic, it’s … what is it? In this age of pigeonholes for every genre and sub-genre and sub-sub-genre, what the hell do you call it? Well, one thing’s for sure – once you’ve heard this album, you’ll know how to describe it in one short sentence: NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL THE WHO BOYS!!!
In a word, it's EVERYTHING. As my mum described it, before I killed her - God bless her corpse...
